Backpack (outreach pack)
One suitcase- if needed
Sheets and pillowcase (pillow if you prefer your own)
Passport- bring a copy of your passport (don’t put the copy in the same place as your passport J). Also, leave a copy at home.
Important Documents- bring copies of anything needed (ex. Insurance information)
Plenty of underwear and bras (western sizes are not always available)
Tampons (are more difficult to get here, so you may want to bring more than normal)
Pads (have plenty here)
Bathing Suit- please bring only one-pieces and make sure that it is modest
Toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc.)
Sun Block
Mosquito Repellent
Computer if you have a laptop- we have wireless here
Notebook to take notes if no computer
Pens/Pencils
Bible
Jeans/ Sweatpants (it is cold at night in January only- don’t bring lots of long pants)
Shirts/shorts- at or below knee
Skirts and nice shirts- for church
Shorts- for sports- please bring shorts that are a modest length
Sandals
Tennis Shoes
Flip Flops
Socks
Any medications that you may need
ATM card or cash (easier with an ATM card)
Adaptor (Voltage- 220)
Towel

Hopefully this list is helpful and might help you to remember some things that otherwise you may have forgotten. This list isn’t exhaustive, but just a way to help you to think about what you may need or want here!

Please bring most of the things that you will need, but know that you can buy things as needed. Chiang Rai should have most of what you may need during your time here. For example, don’t stress out about having to bring shampoo for the entire trip as you can buy it here!
